Striking, modern apricot tones adorn these cupped, antique rose-shaped blooms. The unique spicy fragrance fills the air around this daring new rose. The globular blooms of this Hybrid tea are immense and are produced all summer. A vigorous plant that is contained at 3 to 4 feet (though in exceptional conditions, like that of my friend Pamelas, it can be bigger).
A beautiful, soft white romantica with a very strong fragrance. Petal packed beauties (100!), dark green foliage, somewhat smaller flowers than many romanticas, but in keeping with the plant. About 4 feet in height
Finally a white rose in the popular Romantica series. This combines old-fashioned blooms with good fragrance and exceptional foliage. The blooms are long lasting and perfect for the vase. Selected by the editor of Traditional Home magazine in honor of their Classic Woman Award, that honors women for exemplary volunteerism and community service.
Romantica Rose. Named after a scholar and doctor who knew how to enjoy food and wine. This rose has petals the color of wine produced where Rabelais enjoyed his life. A compact and bushy plant works well as a low hedge. A modern plant that offers the traditional characteristics of a Floribunda on a modern disease resistant plant. No scent that I can detect, but I find myself charmed by the beauty of the flowers nonetheless.
Perhaps the most vigorous of all the Romanticas easily reached 6 foot heights, but produces delicate pink blossoms sweetly scented of tea. 40 to 45 petals
Romantica. Produces oversized, dahlia-shaped, golden-yellow to apricot blossoms veined in tangerine and red and redolent of spicy clove. Long cutting stems.
Romantica rose, said to be scented of lemon verbena has a proclivity for producing 3-7 large, pearl-pink blossoms per stem. Fine cut flower.
Strong apricot fragrance adds to the enchantment of this coral pink, quartered bloom. Nice long, sturdy and strong stems will tempt you to bring these into the house. 75-80 petals. About 4 to 5 feet.

Romantica rose. This is one of the most fragrant Romantica Roses. Deep, old rose coloring and glossy, dark green foliage.
Powerfully fragrant, quartered, crimson blooms adorn a somewhat stiff, modern shrub. Excellent as a cut flower!
A Perfectly pink, old-fashioned bloom with a fragrance to make your mouth water. Bring this indoors for a living potpourri. Plants are very vigorous, yet compact. Formerly Guy de Maupassant.
Introduced this year (2007), this adds the color of salmon to the beautiful line of Romantica roses. While similar in flower form to the David Austin and many old garden roses, the similarity ends there as these adorn hybrid tea-like plants. This makes them excellent for cutting. Strongly fragrant, 40 to 45 petals on a tall, bushy plant.
"Romantica rose. This latest addition to the family is clear, vibrant red. Not only do the French claim that it smells distinctly of apples, they consider it one of their most disease-resistant varieties.
Romantica rose. The forerunner of the Romanticas is still my pick of the litter. Blooms are mauve-pink and strongly scented of lemon. An outrageously decadent flower, reminiscent in form to a peony!
