The Arkansas Black Spur Apple is a large, late season apple fruit tree. It is a very late maturing variety grown primarily in the Southeast. The distinctive dark red skin encases a high quality fruit even where summer nights are warm. Use this apple for dessert and cooking. This is a great variety to add in a cider blend, providing a high acid, spicy flavor. They have an excellent storage life. They keep for many months. Arkansas Black blooms in mid-season and is a great pollinator for early blooming apple varieties, varieties blooming in the middle of the season, and varieties blooming late in the season.
The Arkansas Black Apple Tree requires a pollinator in order to bear fruit. We suggest the following other apple trees as pollinators: Golden Delicious Apple, Granny Smith
Juicy, medium to large apricots, delicious fresh or prepared, tends to ripen late in the season. Self-fertile, 500 chilling hours
This apricot, which is relatively low chill at around 500 hours, produces freestone sweet fruit of excellent flavor. It blooms early, sets well and is self-fruitful. Will need protection if frosts occur while blooming. Probably one of the most delicious of apricots.

Comice are the sweetest and juiciest of all varieties of pears, and are a favorite in holiday gift boxes and baskets. Their flesh is very soft, and can best be described as creamy in texture, abundantly full of juice, and very sweet. For many pear lovers, Comice are the pinnacle of pears.
The D'Anjo Pear is a large pear. The flesh is white with abundant juice and a sweet brisk flavor. It is a naturally sweet pear, light green in color with a yellow tinge when ripe. Anjou pears have exceptional keeping qualities. The tree is very hardy, large and highly productive. The D'Anjou does not change color as it ripens. Requires cross pollination with Bartlett or any other pear with the same bloom date.
Well suited to sub-tropical areas, low chill, very early, good quality fruit, very juicy. For best results cross-pollinate with Anna or Einshimer.
We recommend Hosui if you're just getting into Asian pears. Its slightly higher acid content adds a pleasant snappy tang to its taste. This blight-resistant tree is self-pollinating, but for maximum harvests, pollinate with other Asian Pears.

The original of this tree came from the San Juan Bautista Mission's original orchard, dating back to 1805. The one surviving pear tree was cloned and named the Monterey Pear.
Shineseiki Asian Pear is an early season Asian pear with yellow skin and very little russet. The fruit is medium in size with smooth creamy white flesh and a sweet, mild taste. Shinseiki is one of the earliest asian pears, ripening in mid-summer a couple weeks before Twentieth Century or Hosui.
